Another birthday

I just celebrated another birthday. Had a nice time but it made me think a little too. Turning 45 is just around the corner and I have decided this is going to be the year of trying new things. So far I have tried sushi(didnt care for it) will try a different kind. I also want to travel. So by the time I turn 45 I want to have traveled overseas and Im going to do it. Life just passes us by so quickly and as I get older I start to appreciate the little things in life and what its all about. i am grateful for a great job, a wonderful family and a nice place to live. Instead of focusing on the negative things in my life, I need to look to the future and what I have now and appreciate all that is here.

TGIF

I am so glad the week is almost over with. Isn't it funny when the week is shorter it can actually seem longer. We of course were closed on Monday I worked Tuesday and then off Wednesday then have worked the rest of the week including Saturday. But I swear these weeks seem longer than a regular week. Plus I just realized that Monday was our last holiday until Memorial Day weekend:( That is a long way away. And Spring, where is it. I guess this time of year makes me a little crabby so I hope it warms up soon. :)

Today is a good day

Today is better yet a great day. I got my nails done which I haven't been able to do for a long time. I voted, of course for the winner, and my ex inlaws are going to buy my ex's truck from him which is still financed in my name and has been for almost two years since the divorce. This is the final thing that we still have joint and the sooner its done and over the better. So yes today was and is a great day, even with the rain and potential snow coming soon. Gotta live life the best that you can.

Wisdom teeth

Here is my new story. On Christmas Eve I was trying to eat Christmas dinner and the right side of my mouth was killing me. I couldn't eat and that was a tragedy. So of course being around Christmas I couldnt get into the dentist. So the day after Christmas I made an appointment and got in immediately. After xrays and an examination they determined that I had an infection in my mouth around where my wisdom teeth had come through and the only way to get rid of it was to have them extracted. I was told to call an Oral Surgeon and make an appointment. I havent had wisdom teeth pulled for over 20 years and it was just the top two and at that time my dentist did it. Now I have to go to an Oral Surgeon for the extraction and they asked if I wanted to be sedated. Well duh. lol. So Tuesday I have a pre-op visit with the Oral Surgeon for cost and procedure processes the whole ball of wax. Im a little nervous about it because I am quite a bit older than i was when I had my top wisdom teeth taken out. Plus after all this is done and over with I need to go back to my regular dentist for a very indepth cleaning of my teeth. See I only go when there is a problem not regularly like I should. They say as you get older you get wiser. Only time will tell

2008 is going to be a great year

I have decided that this year is going to be great. I am no longer looking into the past and what was or may have been, but to the future and what lies ahead for me. This year my house is going to sell. This year I am going to lose weight. I say it every year but this year I am determined to do so. This year I am going to travel more. This year I am going to spend more time with my family. This year is for seeing what wonderful things and people I have in my life and how blessed I am every day. This year I am going to spend more time with my friends. This year is not just for me but for everyone around me and its going to be a great year.
